 Q: What is droopy Tail?
 A: It is a minor ailment being painful it is not life threatening.
Your dog's tail may become numb from to much swimming and wagging is out of the question.
Staff: This is why it is important that we time each swim and take breaks between swims.
And you the pet parent let us know your dog's exercise history.
 
Q: If my dog shivers does that mean they are cold?
A: No. Shivering is a sign of nerves in dogs.
We do body temperature checks to ease your concern.

Q: Is the water safe for dogs to drink?
A: Yes. We use the Andrews advantage circulation system.
The system has Aqua Doc(TM) magnetic water conditioners.
This allows the water to naturally balance itself,reducing Ph fluctuation with out additional chemicals.
The system also keeps the water odor free and clean.

Q: Will the water dry my dog's skin?
A:  No. The magnetic conditioner in the Andrews advantage system help promote healthy fur and will not dry your dog's skin. It is also safe for your dog's eyes if face goes in the water. No eye irritation will occur.

Q: What if my dog gets water in his ears?
A: We have a gel called Swimmers ear to put in your dogs ears.
One drop in each ear is all you need.
This gel will dry the ears and prevent ear infections. Works great if your dog is prone to ear infections.
Q: My dog hates water how can you get him to swim?
A: Most dogs don't hate water. It just that they have not been able to experience it in a controlled enviroment or have been given the apportunity to gain confidence in and around water. Once dogs learn not to fear the water, they can associate the water as a reward for fun.

Q: How do you teach a dog to swim?
A: Dogs are born knowing how to swim. Once we teach dogs to be confident in the water and the ablity to swim they will feel confident.

Q: Can I go in the water with my dog?
 A: No. We have a life guard on duty once an appointment is made.
She will ensure the safety of your dog and assist in swim time.

Q: Will there be other dog guardians at the pool at the same time?
 A: No. Use of pool is by appointment only.The pool is reserved for you and your dog once an appointment is made.

Q: How long is a session?
A: 30 minutes Sessions and hour sessions. It includes swim time and introducing dogs to the water.
Bathroom breaks. Drying time also included at "The Spa and Butt Rubs" section. 

Q: My dog has Hip Dysplacia and my vet reccomended swimming.
Will swimming cure my dog's Hip Dysplacia?
A: Swimming will not cure Hip Dysplacia. Swimming will provide a weightless form of exercise.
A swim promotes full range of leg motion with out painful side effects associated with regular ground exercise.  Swimming builds up and maintains the muscles that support the hip joint. It also helps to reduce deterioration.

Q: My dog is not injured. Can he swim just for fun and exersise?
A: Absolutely! Swimming is a great way to exercise and condition. We encourage you to get involved in your dog's swim time.

 FYI:  5 Minutes of swimming is equal to a 20 minute walk.
